Fall Semester
Fall 2017, Starts in September 2017

Fall semester starts when the weather in Israel is still very hot.
Toward the end of September the weather starts to cool  down and  maybe a little chilly at night.September is the month of Israeli holidays: Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot. In Sukkot two big events take place on the farm : the festival of Sukkot and the Annual celebration of Israeli Permaculture Organization. Eco participants take an active part in both events. In November  the weather cools . Unfortunately there is not enough rainfall in Israel, so we are very pleased when it rains.  The valley and the surrounding hills turn green and starts  blooming. In December we celebrate Hanukkah, the festival of lights and light a menorah every night. In January, we have another event – Tu Bishvat  happening,  it is the trees  New Year . February is usually the beginning of spring, the weather heats up gradually.
